ProMoS NG – Hardware requirements
Hardware requirements grow with the size of the plant. For small plants, a PLC or a Raspberry Pi is enough. On the operating side, displaying large, dynamic process diagrams in the browser often needs more performance than the server.

You need more storage mainly for historical data with long retention. ProMoS NG also runs as a Docker instance on various operating systems – see supported platforms.

Operating system and browser: Windows 11, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android with a current web browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox or Safari.
Mobile: for smartphones there is also the native ProMoS Dashboard app for iOS and Android.
More memory pays off especially when several process diagrams or dashboards are open at the same time.
